COURSE DESCRIPTION & OVERALL GOAL
This ½ day course will cover key elements of conducting tuberculosis contact investigations in congregate settings in order to identify contacts of a person with infectious TB. Through a combination of lecture and case studies this course will focus on a review of contact investigation principles and rationale for conducting contact investigations in congregate settings as well as key steps in planning and conducting these investigations.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is open to public health nurses, epidemiologists, outreach workers and others who conduct TB contact investigations.

The registration deadline is May 13, 2014. There is no fee for this training.

DIRECTIONS
From Rt. 50 Eastbound stay in right lane to Exit 22 (Rt. 665 – Aris T. Allen Blvd.). Take Riva Rd. exit. Turn right onto Riva Rd. – proceed to third traffic light. Turn right onto Harry S. Truman Parkway. Building is ½ mile on right (there are 2 large cows in front). Parking is beyond the building. Additional parking is available across the street at the Anne Arundel County Health Dept.
